Family Dance: Creative Expressions in Movement
Join Tandem Theatre and Dance for "Children's Creative Expressions in Movement Class" in our new Dance Lab in Room 1241 (2nd floor) in the renovated Franklin Junior High Building, 4801 Franklin Ave in Des Moines.
Instructor and professional dancer Benjamin Rethmeier has years of experience teaching all bodies, all ages, all levels. Preschool age children, with a parent or caregiver, will be guided to find ways to express themselves with music, props, poems, stories, rhythm and more. Wear clothing that is comfortable to move in (i.e. shorts or leggings and t-shirt). Bare feet.
The class will meet in a 6-week session at 3:30–4:15 PM on Mondays: June 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8 and 15 with possible make-up days at 9:30–10:15 AM on Tuesdays: June 25 and July 16.
Cost: $60/session or $15 drop-in class.
